The human quest
A quest for change
New centre project aims to marry science, arts, business
A spin-off project from The Human Quest aims to experiment with novel ways of blending science and arts to promote an institutional “mind shift”, a change of perspective, in sustainable development. The project will further cement the SRC’s commitment to innovative research in research on social-ecological systems.
Funded by the Swedish Postcode Lottery, the new project will during 2013 contribute greater insights among business and policy leaders both in Sweden and globally.
The project will be in collaboration with National Geographic photographer Mattias Klum and helmed by Nina Ekelund. With over 20 years of experience tackling environment and climate change-related issues at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, Prime Minister’s Office, and the Environment and Health Administration, Ekelund will leverage her wide network within the business, politics, and environmental organizations in Stockholm and abroad to open the project up as a space for dialogue among different stakeholders.
