Vaida Razaityte’s work is focused on designing and implementing the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) framework in order to assess how the centre’s activities and generated knowledge affect other areas.
Vaida Razaityte joined the Stockholm Resilience Centre in 2023 to coordinate the internal and external MEL system development in the organisation. In addition to developing and implementing the system, she advises projects on MEL routines, facilitates capacity building around research effects, and contributes to the impact reporting documents.
Previously, Razaityte has worked with science communication and policy engagement at Nordregio – an international research institute for regional development and planning. She also worked as a radio reporter at the Lithuanian national radio, occasionally contributing to European journalists’ network projects, and as a lecturer of international journalism at Vilnius University.
Razaityte has a BA in Journalism from Klaipeda University and an MA in Media and Communications from Stockholm University. For her master's thesis, she studied how events, connected to human rights issues are communicated through professional and citizen media. Furthermore, she received training in Project Management and Leadership at the UCL University College in Denmark and Digital Content Management at the Berghs School of Communications in Sweden.
