Stockholm Resilience Week will spotlight what connects us: our shared dependence on one another and on the ecosystems that sustain life.
Join us in Stockholm, where we will explore how nature, societies, and economies can live and develop within planetary boundaries.
Grounded in the Resilience Science Must-Knows, Stockholm Resilience Week will spotlight what connects us: our shared dependence on one another and on the ecosystems that sustain life. Through dialogue across disciplines and sectors, the week will highlight the relationships, values, and collaborations needed for a liveable planet.
During the week, Stockholm becomes a living resilience arena, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase initiatives, exchange knowledge, inspire one another, and accelerate change. The week will feature scientific symposiums, workshops, roundtable discussions, exhibitions, study visits, cultural events, hackathons, learning activities, and a Resilience Fest celebrating 20 years of Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Building on Stockholm's long-standing sustainability legacy, the week takes place 55 years after the 1972 UN Conference on the Human Environment, the first global conference on the environment.
At a time marked by climate change, biodiversity loss, geopolitical tensions, and growing societal challenges, there is an urgent need for new partnerships and practical pathways, based on science, toward a resilient future.
Stockholm Resilience Week is hosted by Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University and co-created with key partners.
