Student project: What is resilience?

Master student Kit Hill gives his interpretation of resilience.

Kit currently studies Sustainable Enterprising at the centre and the video is one of his Master projects. The video gives a rundown of what resilience is and how it fits with social-ecological research.

Kit graduated from Macalester College located in St.Paul, MN with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Theater, Dance and Performance. During the last year he also attended the University of Washington for a certificate course in Environmental Law.

He has spent the last four years as an independent contractor running and growing his own health, wellness and lifestyle business located in Seattle, Washington USA.

His research interests are particularly linked to the social psychology of consumer culture, knowledge management and how consumer power can be more effectively acknowledged and expressed through our lifestyle choices and decisions.
