Line Gordon elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry
Centre director has been elected into the General Division of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry for her expertise in sustainability science.
Centre director Line Gordon was one of nine new members appointed to the General Division of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry on 14 November 2024.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry is an independent organisation founded in 1811, working with issues of agriculture, horticulture, food, forest and forest products, fishing and aquaculture, the environment and natural resources.
Members of the Academy are chosen for their outstanding insight and experience in the Academy’s focus areas.
Gordon is an internationally recognised sustainability scientist, focusing on water, food and the biosphere. Through her research, she closely interacts with various actors of the food sector, which is crucial in the transformation of the food system at local, regional and global levels.
