CTM an integrated part of the centre

The Centre for Transdiciplinary Environmental Research CTM is now officially a part of Stockholm Resilience Centre.

From 1st January, CTM has ceased to exist as an independent centre, however lives on within the Stockholm Resilience Centre, continuing to promote transdisciplinary education and research within environmental issues.

A special Advisory group for transdisciplinary environmental studies will be established. The council, which will consist of faculty representatives from Stockholm University, will together with the university faculties continue to organise transdisciplinary environment courses.

Furthermore, the advisory group will be a forum for transdisciplinary discussions and a channel for new ideas within research and education.

Seminar on science for change
A special half-day seminar will take place on Thursday 6th March between 1400 and 1700.

During the seminar, both the Stockholm Resilience Centre and the advisory group will be introduced more closely.

The seminar will open up for discussions on the relations between research and decision-making processes, and the increasingly demanding environmental issues.
