Maganizo Kruger Nyasulu is a complex systems scientist working at the intersection of finance, nature, and climate.
Nyasulu is currently part of the FinBio Project. His research focuses on addressing key research and policy gaps in financing nature, including adaptation, mitigation, restoration, and conservation.
He approaches this work through two complementary lenses: assessing nature-related financial risks, and developing innovative financing mechanisms and infrastructure to mobilize and scale investment into natural systems. His work aims to bridge scientific insight with practical financial and policy applications.
Nyasulu is a Career Development Fellow at the University of Oxford. He completed his PhD at Stockholm Resilience Centre and is also a guest researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
