Jeanne Vu works closely with companies and investors to implement research-based tools and guidance for scientifically grounded environmental impact assessment and disclosure.

As part of the MISTRA Finance to Revive Biodiversity (FinBio) programme, Vu helps translate the research team’s work into actionable insights for companies and financial institutions. Her work aims at advancing the collection and disclosure of essential environmental data, as well as the assessment of environmental impacts of economic activities beyond greenhouse gas emissions. She explores development opportunities, identifies and engages with pilot organisations, develops guidance materials, and ensures continuous improvement of both methods and recommendations.

Vu holds a Master’s in Management from ESSEC Business School, France, with a focus on sustainability and entrepreneurship. She also completed an exchange semester at Copenhagen Business School, where she specialised in ESG reporting and impact investments.

Professionally, Vu brings experience in sustainability consulting and business development, including data analysis, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement to address social-ecological challenges such as food waste and biodiversity loss. In her most recent roles as a biodiversity and sustainability strategy consultant, she supported organisations across industries in assessing their environmental impacts, navigating regulatory and voluntary frameworks, and developing tailored strategies and roadmaps to align their operations with relevant sustainability standards and goals.
