Eva Brattander works as a senior learning and organisation development officer at SwedBio, a programme for biodiversity and equitable development in harmony with nature at Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Brattander is specialized in supporting continuous collaborative learning processes, based on implementation, for further advancement and enhanced operational quality. This is done by combining various individuals' experiences from practice, recognizing innovative ideas, and updating strategies in response to external contextual changes. With solid methodological expertise, Brattander tailors approaches based on an understanding of complexity, change narratives, mindful adaptation, systems thinking, and resilience.

As for SwedBio, Brattander is a senior operations developer within methodology and learning, with a focus on internal and external organizational development and partner relations. This supports SwedBio’s work towards sustainable and equitable biodiversity management.

Brattander has an extensive background in International Development Collaboration. Prior to joining SwedBio in 2025, she worked for four years at the Swedish Government Agency for Peace, Security, and Development (FBA), where she provided methodological support to Country Teams, encouraging their ongoing learning and facilitating complexity-aware analyses.

Previously, Brattander also worked at Stockholm Resilience Centre. At that time, she served as a Monitoring Officer for five years between 2016 and 2021. Her focus was on further developing and managing methods for following up on results and monitoring progress. In the beginning of her career, Brattander worked for eleven years at the UN Association of Sweden, in different roles, including as the Organizational Liaison Officer and Project Lead.

Brattander holds a MSc degree in Professional Analysis is from Linköping University, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to address contemporary issues in a complex world.
