Marika Berglind-Ekman works with communication design for PLATE at Stockholm Resilience Centre.
Berglind-Ekman is a communications designer and project manager with nearly ten years of experience leading campaigns, coordinating projects, and developing visual identities. She specializes in creating clear and engaging communication tailored to different audiences and platforms, including social media, web design, print materials, reports, and events.
Her experience in food and sustainability spans various roles, including co-founder and project manager at Reformaten, as well as coordinator between Sweden’s largest grocery chain and leading organic brands at the EU level. These roles have provided her with a strong understanding of the complexities of today’s food systems and the role of strategic communication in driving change.
Berglind-Ekman is passionate about research-based communication and sees initiatives like PLATE as key to building a more sustainable and resilient food system. She looks forward to the opportunity to contribute her expertise and creativity to a multidisciplinary project with real impact.
