Molly Lundgren works as a research assistant in the project Systemic Thinking in Climate Assemblies (SYSCA), bridging perspectives from media studies with research on citizen assemblies.

The project Systemic Thinking in Climate Assemblies focuses on deliberative democracy and specifically, climate assemblies. In her role, Lundgren supports administrative day-to-day project coordination, as well as more research oriented tasks as study design, research, editing and writing.

Lundgren holds an MSc in Media Governance from the London School of Economics. Her academic work focuses on internet governance, technological infrastructure, and policy-making.

Before joining Stockholm Resilience Centre, she was an intern at the Swedish Consumers’ Association, working on digital consumer rights. Lundgren co-authored the report "Are you sure you want to leave us? Deceptive design in the cancellation process of 20 digital services in Sweden", and contributed to a study on Tinder’s pricing mechanisms. Her BA thesis research provided evidence that Tinder used personalised pricing for premium services, prompting the EU Commission to call for changes in its business practices.

Alongside Lundgren's work at Stockholm Resilience Centre, she is a part-time teaching assistant in Media Studies at Södertörn University, leading seminars and delivering occasional lectures.
