Minda Holm’s work is focused on supporting the centre's outreach and communication through its digital platforms

Minda Holm joined the Stockholm Resilience Centre’s communications team in 2022 to support the centre’s outreach and visibility on the web and social media. She is especially interested in how science communication can inspire activism for social change.

Holm has previous communications experience through collaborations with the non-governmental organisation Svalorna Latinamerika and the media channel Supermiljöbloggen. Her earlier roles focused on creating awareness and public opinion about human rights, climate and environmental issues. She also worked with science communication as a web editor at the SEQUAL research project.

Holm has a BA in International Relations from Malmö University and a MSc in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from the Stockholm Resilience Centre. For her master thesis, she studied how narratives in science and practice frame indigenous environmental justice and stewardship. She co-authored a study that was published in World Development Perspectives 2022 on the making of resource frontier spaces in the Congo Basin and Southeast Asia.
