Julia Fritzsche is a MSc student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme
Fritzsche is interested in transformations to a just and fair society and well-being for all life on this planet. She likes to engage with the topics, empowerment, postcolonial development cooperation and various knowledges – especially when it comes to nature conservation and biodiversity protection.
Fritzsche has a BSc degree in global sustainability science from Utrecht University. Her thesis focussed on evaluating sustainable development goal number 10 on reduced international inequality.
Next to academia, Fritzsche is involved in a variety of NGOs, such as holding a scholarship from Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation or organizing events for the Jane Goodall Institute in Germany. She also writes journalistic articles for a German magazine and newspaper.
