Hanna Rut Carlsson is interested in system dynamics in food systems and works with semi-quantitative scenario modelling.
Carlsson is a Master's student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme at the centre.
Carlsson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Natural Resource Management from Copenhagen University, with specialisations in bioenergy, Corporate Social Responsibility, and global food systems. Before joining the SRC, she gained a broad experience with social movements in Argentina, Denmark, and Sweden, working with sustainability education, eco-villages, andplatforms connecting grassroots initiatives. She has also worked in the context of Swedish agriculture as a research assistant and for the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
Apart from her academic interests, Carlsson has a deep engagement with literature and language. She has worked as a translator from English, Spanish, and Danish, and is a novelist on themes like societal change and human-nature relationships.
