Krisztina Jónás is a research assistant for the SES-LINK team at the centre

In her work, she focuses on the role of anticipatory governance in a social-ecological system, translating the social dynamics of a Swedish case study of Ringsjön lake into a model in the LimnoScenES project. Furthermore, she works with the understanding of the emergent phenomena of complex-adaptive systems in social-ecological systems.

Jónás holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Foreign Affairs, a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest, and a Master of Science degree in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University.

Previously she worked with innovation, sustainability and stakeholder engagement in the public and private sector, and gained insights into planetary health, carbon budgets and social sustainability at the Global Economic Dynamics and the Biosphere Programme at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Future Earth (at the Exponential Climate Action Roadmap initiative) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

She is a member of the Climate-KIC Alumni network and was a nominated participant of the Energy chapter of the International Visitors Leadership Program.

She engages in various strategic sustainability science and leadership communities, such as EIT Climate-KIC, Transformations Systems Mapping & Analysis Working Group, the Art of Hosting, Presencing Institute and Slow Food networks.
