She joined the centre in the spring of 2012. Haeggman is assistant editor for the centre's online publication Rethink. Her background is in Systems ecology at Stockholm University and the SRC.
Haeggman wrote her master thesis about methods to increase productivity in small-scale vegetable farming in Zanzibar without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. In the spring/summer of 2011 she spent four months in Zanzibar interviewing vegetable farmers who had attended farmer field schools to learn about their experiences.
She also works for Albaeco, a strategic environmental communication partner to the centre.
