Harini Nagendra from ATREE, India will present her study "Drivers of Reforestation in the Human Dominated Landscapes of South Asia". Harini Nagendra has an interest in how processes of human land use interact with biophysical factors to impact patterns of landscape change.
Nagendra has had a long collaboration with the 2010 economics Nobel award winner Elinor Ostrom on institutions and forest management and is now leading the urban studies in Bangalore as part of the Stockholm Resilience Centre Urban theme.
