MASE hosts an international workshop
Between the 10th and the 13th of June the MASE program welcomes international guests. The MASE laboratory hosts the fifth *IOBC workshop, titled "Multitrophic Interactions in Soil."

It is an intense schedule with a series of 20-minute speeches delivered back to back from early morning to evening.The first day starts with “Community Interactions and Function." Following lunch, participants will give short presentations of their posters. In the evening they will embark on a trip along Lake Mälaren, to visit Skokloster Castle and have dinner on the boat.
The second day is devoted to “Biological Control, Microbial Toxins and Metabolites." Legislation, registration and commercialization will be handled in the afternoon. This is also when Christopher Welch, program director at MASE, will talk about how to make research results into environmentally healthy products.
Saturday, June 13, commences with “Management of agriculture practices to suppress pests and diseases." This day and workshop is concluded with lunch.
Participants are from England, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Egypt, India, USA and Russia.
*IBOC is short for International Organization for Biological Control.
