Change of CEO at Mistra

Mistra's CEO Ola Engelmark today informed Mistra's Board of Directors that he wishes to resign from his post. Until a new CEO is chosen, Mistra's board has appointed Clas-Uno Frykholm as acting Executive Director.

“I joined Mistra as its´ CEO in 2007. It has been a rewarding period with a great deal of innovation within the business," says Ola Engelmark.

“I also foresee a continuation of Mistra´s growth and improvement in the future. However, after careful consideration, I have chosen to leave as CEO in order to seek new challenges," he says.

“I have great respect for Ola Engelmark´s decision to leave his post as CEO at this point in time. I have asked him to remain as Senior Adviser until a new CEO has been appointed," says Chairman Lena Treschow-Torell.

The Board has initiated an immediate recruitment process in search of a new CEO according to Clas-Uno Frykholm who is currently Director of Evaluation and Quality at Mistra.

“I will work to make the transition as smooth as possible and see to it that Mistra continues its mission according to the strategy the Board has determined for the period 2009-2014,"  says Clas-Uno Frykholm.
