‘Leadership is the crux of a Mistra programme. Research for sustainable development is based on sustained leadership.´

These words open a new book about leadership in Mistra´s research programmes. The book is based on discussions with a number of Mistra programme managers, but should not be seen as a handbook on how to organise and manage Mistra-funded programmes. Instead, it is intended to provide inspiration and serve as a broad framework.
