Enhanced Analytics Initiative
Mistra is an associated member of EAI, which is a newly founded organisation with the purpose to enhance knowledge of asset managers. The initiators of this organisation are some large pension funds and asset managers inEurope . EAI evaluates and awards through commission the securities trading firms which provides investors with the best broad information and analysis about non-financial factors for long-term investments.

SWESIF
Mistra is a member of SWESIF, an independent, non-profit forum for organizations that work with, or promote sustainable investment (SRI) in Sweden. SWESIF is focusing on:

  • Collect and disseminate information SRI
  • Contribute to the development of SRI
  • Provide a forum for promoting SRI

EFC
European Foundation Centre is promoting the work of foundations and corporate funders in Europe and the world.

UNEPFI

Mistra invests in a new ethical fund for growth markets
As the first investor in a new ethical fund, Mistra (the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research) is once more taking the initiative. BankInvest, the Danish company, has started a new ethical fund for Global Emerging Markets Debt SRI. This fund will invest in corporate and government bonds on the world´s growth markets. Toolkit for responsible management

Mistra's entire portfolio now sustainable
As from 1 April 2007, all of Mistra's assets are invested on the basis of sustainability criteria. The goal of meeting such criteria across the entire portfolio by 2007 has thus been met. Read more here

Mistra the first investor in a new ethical fund for emerging markets
Mistra has added a new asset manager to its team: the Danisch company BankInvest, which in April is setting up a new ethical global emerging markets fund, "BI Global Emerging Markets Equities SRI". Companies will be selected for inclusion in the fund on the basis of positive criteria, combined with traditional negative screening.
