About IHOPE
The Integrated History and future Of the People on Earth (IHOPE) is a global network of researchers and research projects sharing knowledge about the past to ensure a sustainable future for humanity and our planet.

To do this, the social science and the humanities communities must join with colleagues in the biophysical sciences to address analytical and interpretive issues associated with past and future changes in the global system.

IHOPE goals are to

- Map the integrated record of biophysical and human system change

- Understand the connections and dynamics of human and Earth history

- Project options for the future of humanity
