Practical on-site research
You will spend the majority of the term doing practical research on-site. The remainder of the term you will write your thesis. You will also participate in group meetings, oral presentations, and opposition.
While the thesis is an independent project you will be part of a thesis group to continuously assess your progress and create a supportive group in addition to your academic and practical advisors.
During the term you will submit several written items: work plans, a timetable, thesis outlines, thesis revisions and the final thesis.
You may choose to do your thesis work abroad.
The final work is presented in a public seminar at the end of the final semester.
