Analysing and responding to the problems associated with sustainable enterprising requires an integrated and transdisciplinary approach. The course discusses some of the assumptions expressed in a variety of existing theoretical frameworks including scientific methods and applications for studying coupled social-ecological systems.
Students will practice using and integrating the approaches of different disciplines and applying theory.
This course runs between 25 August 2008 - 16 January 2009 (extended over the entire Autumn semester — with lectures/workshops/examinations adjusted to the schedules of the other obligatory courses in the Programme).
