Academic theory, methods and writing for transdisciplinary research, AN, 3 cr
This course provides an introduction to critical reflection, the case study methodology and how to write theses.
Analysing and responding to the problems associated with sustainable enterprising requires an integrated and transdisciplinary approach.

The course discusses some of the assumptions expressed in a variety of existing theoretical frameworks including scientific methods and applications for studying coupled social-ecological systems.

Students will practice using and integrating the approaches of different disciplines and applying theory.

This course runs between 25 August 2008 - 16 January 2009 (extended over the entire Autumn semester — with lectures/workshops/examinations adjusted to the schedules of the other obligatory courses in the Programme).
