Adaptive governance of social-ecological systems 7,5 ECTS
This course focuses on institutional and organizational aspects of ecosystem management, in particular how governance systems may adapt to manage conflicts and enhance social-ecological resilience.
Other key concepts include collaboration in social networks, leadership, social capital, vulnerability and adaptive capacity to environmental change. Tools include facilitation and stakeholder dialogue.
Case studies include Kristianstads Vattenrike in Sweden and Urban Water Allocation in Dar es Salaam.
