I presently work as a National Projects Officer for Greater Mekong Programme of TRAFFIC — the wildlife trade monitoring network.
My assignment involves doing research on wildlife trade in relation to nature conservation and economic development in Viet Nam, providing technical support for its authorities to strengthen their nature law enforcement, and assisting with raising public awareness towards conservation of wild animals and plants.

My job requires me to work with a wide range of partners, from conservation groups such as WWF, IUCN, FFI, etc. to governmental agencies as well as local communities, and in various aspects of different disciplines. Thanks to knowledge and qualifications I obtained through taking the NGG programme, especially the interdisciplinary approach and the dynamics of a social-ecological system, I have found myself competent and brave enough to successfully handle both theoretical and empirical challenges facing me through my employment.

NGG also provided me with a good foundation for my ongoing studies on sustainability in general and my application of the concept into Viet Nam in particular. In addition, the international academic environment of the NGG helped consolidate my intercultural and interpersonal communication skills, which in return have largely contributed to my recent fulfillments.

I feel so lucky to have been admitted to the course, and grateful to all my teachers and classmates, as well as the course administrators, for their generosity of enthusiastic instructions and support they gave me during my participation.
