The programmes are Ecosystems, Governance and Globalisation (EGG) and Sustainable Enterprising (SE).Both programmes address the transdisciplinary challenges of today´s environmental issues and are collaborative efforts between various departments at Stockholm University. We have gathered some of the foremost researchers from top universities worldwide tied to the Stockholm Resilience Centre, through collaborations, to provide students with cutting edge research in various disciplines.
Ecosystems, Governance and Globalisation (EGG)
This programme aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of the interactions between ecosystem dynamics and human activities and governance at different scales. Read more about EGG here.
Sustainable Enterprising (SE)
This programme aims to increase understanding of the role that social ecological systems play for successful enterprising and to provide training and learning directly applicable to practice in different types of organizations. Read more about SE here.
Independent courses
Students may also choose to study the individual courses that are part of the Master programmes. These will not, however, lead to a Master's degree. Read more about the courses here.
Please note: If you are planning to read one of the Master´s Programmes or just the joint course "Resilience, Vulnerability and Adaptability" you are well advised to look up the following course book and read through it before programme/course start, in order to get a solid base of knowledge on resilience:
