First level studies (Undergraduate)
All First level studies are offered in Swedish only.
In close collaboration with other departments at Stockholm University, Stockholm Resilience Centre offers two interdisciplinary courses on environmental issues and sustainable development.

The courses are Världens eko (7,5 cr) and the 1-year course Hållbar samhällsutveckling (60 cr).

Världens eko, 7,5 cr (only in Swedish)
Världens eko is an orientation course on sustainable development, initiated and driven by students. The course focuses on environmental issues as well as democracy, local and global change, development, climate change and poverty.

Världens Eko offers lectures by some of Swedens´most qualified researchers and debaters from a range of disciplines. These presentations encourage students to question their views about the way the world works.

Hållbar samhällsutveckling, 60 cr (only in Swedish)
Hållbar samhällsutveckling is an introductory course on sustainable development given by the Department of Physical Geography  and Quarternary Geology in close collaboration with Stockholm Resilience Centre

Hållbar samhällsutveckling is a 1-year course which provides an introduction for understanding the complex interactions between nature and society. The course is truly interdisciplinary and several other departments at Stockholm University participate; including Human Geography, Systems Ecology, Philosophy, Political Science, and The Department of Journalism, Media and Communication. The broad perspective of the course allows it to complement other studies. All the courses may also be taken separately.

Independent courses
Furthermore, students may enroll in independent courses separately. These courses are independent courses from the Introductory studies and Master studies.
