Hanna is a PhD student in the project Adapting to changing climate in drylands: The re-greening inSahelas a potential success case. Her PhD research focuses on the spatial and temporal patterns of ecosystem services in Sahelian village landscapes, and the interactions between these patterns and rural livelihood strategies. She is also a member of the research theme Freshwater, food and ecosystem services.
Hanna holds an MSc degree in Soil and Water Management and a BSc degree in Biology from SwedishUniversity of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Prior to joining the centre she has worked one year as a Research Assistant at SLU, modelling phosphorus runoff from Swedish agricultural land.
