Annica Sandström is post doctoral researcher at Stockholm Resilience Centre. She has a PhD in political science and is specialised in policy networks and social network analysis. The governance approach, and a general interest in exploring the relationship between network structure, organizing functions and social outcomes, is characteristics for her work. Previous research includes studies of collaborative management of fish and wildlife applying social network analysis.
She is currently working on a project called Transforming towards ecosystem based co-management: A longitudinal study of challenges and possibilities. The aim of that project is, firstly, to identify determinants of successful co-management processes and, secondly, to use these insights to formulate policy recommendations.
