Rivolala's project focuses on plant pollinator network analyses in a critical ecosystem, a fragmented habitat with highly endemic and diverse species located in the south of Madagascar.Through topological and structural analysis of plant pollinator networks, he will try to understand how networks are more vulnerable to species loss and disturbance, how species loss and disturbance will influence ecosystem functioning.
In other words, his study will predict the vulnerability of pollination service on this fragmented landscape in the southern Madagascar, and will test this prediction of vulnerability on several crop target species.
