Staff profile
Hanna has a PhD in Applied Environmental Science Stockholm University, where she defended her thesis on "Nitrogen land-sea fluxes in the Baltic Sea catchment: Empirical relationships and budgets" in January 2010 (link to fulltext).

Prior to her PhD she worked several years in projects focusing on acidification, limning and water chemical effects of forest fire. She also has an analytical background focusing primarily on chemical analysis of nutrients, analytical fractionation of aluminum and basic chemistry.

Her research interests are effects of anthropogenic activities on land-sea nutrient fluxes; hydrological modeling, empirical relationships and budgeting of nutrient fluxes in watersheds
