Sara has a PhD in urban systems ecology and her thesis concerned planning and management of green areas in urban landscapes.

She is a researcher within the centre urban theme and currently coordinating the URBIS programme. During the fall she will also be working within the Baltic Ecosystem Adaptive Management programme.
