Graduated in Behavioural science, Economics and Sustainability from Stockholm University and Stockholm Resilience Centre, Cecilia joined the centre in October 2011. Before taking on a full-time position at the centre she worked as a Project Leader in HR, Health and Sustainability at TGIM & Jobblyftet.
She is also a former Chairperson for the non-profit organisation Medveten Konsumtion, which works towards more sustainable consumer behaviour. Cecilia is co-funder of the organisation Sustainergies which aims to make sustainable synergies between students and companies. She has received training from The Natural Step's framework and has a certificate from The Sustainability for Leaders training.
