Jenny Beckman has a Ph. D. in History of Science and Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Her research interests are in science and technology studies, particularly the history of the biological sciences and issues concerning public science, civic science, and science education. She is currently working on a research project (funded by Vetenskapsrådet) on institutional development and knowledge production in Swedish biodiversity research and policy, in collaboration with Anna Tunlid at the Research Policy Institute, Lund University.
