Centre organisation
The Stockholm Resilience Centre is placed under the Stockholm University management aside the disciplinary mandates of the four faculties. The strategic placement marks the interdisciplinary nature of the centre.
The Stockholm Resilience Centre is governed by an international board, which is responsible for the strategic direction of the centre, the scientific and communication achievements, the organisational structure and development, and the financial performance of the centre.

The Stockholm Resilience Centre is a joint initiative between the Stockholm University, the Stockholm Environment Institute and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

The former Centre for Transdiciplinary Environmental Research CTM at Stockholm University and The Baltic Nest Institute (former MARE) are parts of the Stockholm Resilience Centre.

The Stockholm Resilience Centre collaborates closely with Albaeco on communications. Albaeco is an independent non-profit organisation communicating the latest in sustainability science with a focus on Nature“s importance to society and its economy.
